Terms and Conditions
The terms on which you may use this website and make a donation to ISKCON Greater Noida West.
Last updated · 9 September 2026About these terms
This website is published by [to be confirmed by the temple], referred to on this page as “the temple”, “we”, “us” or “our”. It is the temple community known publicly as ISKCON Greater Noida West, at Hare Krishna Cow World, Bisrakh, Greater Noida West.
These terms govern your use of this website and any donation you offer through it. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
We may update these terms from time to time — if the law changes, if our processes change, or simply to make something clearer. The version in force is the one published on this page, and the date it took effect is shown at the top. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Using this website
You are welcome to read, print and share the material on this site for your own devotional, educational or personal use, and to link to it.
Unless we have said otherwise in writing, the temple and its licensors own the copyright and other intellectual property in everything on this site — the text, photographs, artwork, the ISKCON marks and the site’s design. You must not:
- republish material from this site as your own;
- sell, rent or sub-license material from this site;
- reproduce, duplicate or copy material from this site for commercial purposes;
- redistribute content from this site except as this page allows;
- use the temple’s name, logo or images to solicit money, goods or services without our written authorisation; or
- use the site in any way that is unlawful, or that damages, disables or interferes with it or with anyone else’s use of it.
Some photographs on this site show deities, devotees and temple programmes. Please treat them with the respect due to sacred images.
Donations
Every donation to the temple is voluntary. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell goods or services, and a donation does not buy anything. Where an amount is shown against a seva — a sponsored meal, a Nitya Seva, a square foot of temple land — it describes what that contribution is applied to, not a price for a product.
Donations are not collected on this website. When you choose a seva here, we hand you to the temple’s own donation system at seva.gnw.myiskcon.org, where the payment is taken. Your card, UPI or net-banking details are entered there and are handled by the payment provider, not by this website.
What you confirm when you donate
- that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to make the donation;
- that the money is your own and comes from a lawful source;
- that the payment instrument you use belongs to you or that you are authorised to use it; and
- that the name, mobile number, email and address you give us are accurate — we rely on them to issue your receipt and to report the donation as the law requires.
When a donation is complete
A donation is complete when the payment provider confirms it to us. Until then it may fail or be reversed by your bank. If money leaves your account but the donation does not appear against your name, please tell us — seeRefund and Cancellation Policy.
How your donation is applied
We apply donations to the seva you chose. Occasionally a specific seva is fully funded, completed or discontinued; where that happens we will apply your donation to the temple purpose closest to your intention. We will not divert a donation to an unrelated purpose. The Donation and Pricing Policyexplains this more fully.
Donations are, by their nature, final. We do make exceptions — for duplicate payments, wrong amounts and failed transactions. Those exceptions, and how to ask, are set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Tax receipts and the 80G position
Donations to the temple are eligible for a deduction underSection 133 of the Income-tax Act, 2025 — the provision that replaced the familiar Section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961 with effect from 1 April 2026. Most people still call it “80G”, and so do we.
The temple’s approval reference is [to be confirmed by the temple], and the deduction available on a donation to us is [to be confirmed by the temple].
- A deduction is not a refund. It reduces the income you are taxed on, not your tax bill rupee for rupee.
- If you file under the new tax regime — which is now the default for individuals — this deduction is not available to you at all. You would need to opt for the old regime to claim it.
- A donation is deductible only if the temple has reported it against your name. That depends entirely on the details you give us.
Your certificate
The document you use to claim the deduction is the certificate of donation —Form 114 under the Income-tax Rules, 2026, which most people still know asForm 10BE. It is generated by the Income Tax Department, not by us, after we file our annual statement of donations (Form 113, formerly Form 10BD). That statement is due by 31 May following the end of the tax year, so a donation made today produces its certificate in the following May, not immediately.
The acknowledgement we send you as soon as your payment succeeds confirms that we received your donation. It is not the certificate, and no website can issue the certificate on the spot.
What we need from you
So that we can report your donation correctly, please give us your full name exactly as it appears on your PAN, your PAN or Aadhaar, and youraddress. The law requires one of PAN or Aadhaar where you have either; the deduction you claim must match what we report. If those details are missing or wrong we may not be able to correct them once the filing deadline has passed.
A cash donation above ₹2,000 does not qualify for the deduction. Donations made on this site are by card, UPI or net banking, so this does not affect them — but it does affect cash offered at the temple counter.
What you can actually claim depends on your own circumstances and on the law as it stands when you file. Please rely on your own tax adviser rather than on this page.
Donations from outside India
Please make your donation from an Indian bank account, card or UPI ID, in Indian rupees. Contributions from foreign sources are regulated separately by the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, and we can only accept them if we hold the registration that Act requires. If you live outside India, or hold a foreign passport, please write to the temple office before donating so that we can tell you the right way to give.
Services we link to
This site links to services that we do not run — the donation system at seva.gnw.myiskcon.org, the payment provider behind it, Google Maps, and our pages on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Those services have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
We also link occasionally to other ISKCON temples, projects and resources. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the site it points to.
Accuracy and availability
We take care over what we publish here — timings, festival dates, programmes and campaign figures — but the temple is a living community and things change. Details on this site may be out of date or contain errors. Before travelling a distance or relying on a date, please call the temple office on 9555109773, 8800968857 to confirm.
We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of faults. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice.
Our responsibility to you
We accept responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, from any inability to use it, or from reliance on information published on it.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Your personal information
What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it are all set out in our Privacy and Cookie Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts atGautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site.
Before that, please come to us. Most problems — a receipt that has not arrived, a payment that has gone wrong, a concern about how we hold your data — are resolved quickly by the temple office. If you are not satisfied, our Grievance Officer is named on the Contact page.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
